Just released – Ikan VX7i | 7″ 3G-SDI LCD Monitor w/ IPS Panel

Overview The next evolution for the VX7 series, the VX7i, has everything  you love about the original monitor and more. ikan’s new VX7i is now  equipped with an HD IPS LCD Panel, upgraded 3G HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite  and Component inputs – all complimented with outputs with no signal loss  and loop through capabilities. With a resolution of 1280×800, the IPS  panel gives you near perfect viewing angles and color reproduction that  any standard LCD panel has. The VX7i has a built in tally system but  uses on screen signals instead of the traditional lights on the  chassis.

Hi-Resolution HD Image

VX7i’s   HD panel has a resolution of 1280×800, a higher resolution than 720p,   giving you a Hi-Res HD image on your monitor. The IPS (In-Plane   Switching) panel gives you a viewing angle of 170° horizontal and 170°   vertical as well as a more accurate color rendition than any standard   LCD monitor.

VL7 Dual Tally Systems There are two tally systems featuring   one on the front and one on the back of the monitor. On the front, the   on-screen tally light shows 3 different colors of your choice of yellow,   green or red on screen. On the back, there are 3 colored indicating LED   lights, and when the tally is connected, it lets the user know when   they are recording or switched to on air.

 

 

 

Input/Output

Every    connection you could possibly need is here on the VX7i. The  monitor    comes with the upgraded 3G HD-SDI, HDMI, Composite, and  Component   input.  All inputs are complimented with outputs.

We  Have the Power This   monitor was built to have power. The VX7i has multiple battery   solutions that include DV batteries, Canon DSLR batteries, and even Pro   batteries that mount directly on the back of the monitor. There are   mounting holes for the plate that holds the V-mount or the Anton Bauer   Pro batteries. Whatever your battery needs are, the VX7i will fit to it.
